About Us
Funel is born, a modern, dynamic company, starting from the revaluation of the ceramic project to focus on new design and creative choices, with the latest technology available, obviously Italian, to continue to progress thinking about the future.
Our Story
Dr Pifferi, a pioneer of Italian ceramics, founded the company in Artigiana in 1964. His innovative formula for glazed stoneware and craquelé conquers the market. The passion for research continued in the family: son William joined his father and in 1995 they built a new factory. Today, with David, William leads the company into the future, investing in cutting-edge technologies such as continua for the production of large sizes.

New Technologies
The most recent restructuring project was completed, whith Continua+, the industry’s technological benchmark for the manufacture of large slabs that insure the integration, efficiency and automation that underlie funel's technical and aesthetic quality and its 60 years od success.
The integration with the various digital decoration solutions gives unparalleled aesthetic and depth effect, an ideal solution, as well as allowing the creation of technical products such as kitchen tops, furnishings and processes that synchronize the dry decoration with the surface.
The attention Funel pays to living spaces is not limited to the four walls of a home. Thanks to the cleaner and more environmentally respectful industrial processes, products made from recycled materials, the sustainable use of raw materials and the safe elimination of hazardous substances, it lies at the cutting edge of ecological production.
